Quarryfield Capital Group, a small-business funding broker in Hillsboro, Oregon, answers common questions here: who makes the credit decision, what the request form collects, how the six funding options differ, why Oregon entity status matters, and what the business does not arrange. Lending partners make credit decisions and set rates and terms.
About Quarryfield
Does Quarryfield Capital Group lend money? No. Quarryfield Capital Group is a broker, not a lender; the partner on the other side of the file supplies the money and the decision.
Where is Quarryfield listed? 118 SE 2nd Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97123. Requests are handled by phone and email at (503) 862-0920.
Which areas do you work with? Owners across Washington County, Oregon, including Cornelius, Forest Grove, Beaverton and Sherwood. The service areas page lists them.
The request
What does the form ask for? Full name, email, phone and business name, ranges for time in business, annual revenue and the amount requested, and a consent checkbox. We ask about the purpose and timing when we call.
What happens after I send it? We call to talk through the need, check your records, and send the request to suitable partners. The four steps walk through it from call to offer.
Will sending the form affect my credit? The form itself does not involve a credit inquiry. A partner reviewing a request may check credit as part of its underwriting; ask the partner how it does so.
The options
Can I use a business loan for anything? Business funding is for business purposes, and many agreements limit how the money is used. Read the use-of-funds section before you sign.
Which costs suit a business credit line? Recurring operating costs such as materials, payroll between invoices and repairs. Our post on credit-line uses goes further, and the blog has more.
Does an advance on card sales count as a loan? No. The funder is buying a share of revenue that has not been earned yet. The merchant cash advance page explains holdbacks, factors and remittance.
Records and status
Why do partners care about my annual report? Partners commonly confirm that a business is active with the state. A lapsed filing can hold up a request until it is fixed. Our guides cover Oregon entity status and Hillsboro license renewals.
Do you help with grants? No. Grant money is outside our work entirely. Free advisers in Washington County, Oregon can point you to programs; see the resource guide.
Requests outside our lane
Personal loans, payday loans, auto title loans, mortgages and SBA loans are outside what we do. We also do not arrange funding for agriculture or trucking.
